I was reluctant to get the PS VR but after many reviews and a little bit of gaming boredom, I decided to make the plunge. This bundle is a fantastic bundle! This is an actual controller. I would highly recommend you get the Geek Protection for 2 years. There are some moving parts and electronics that could potentially go bad. The game is actually a fun shooter. The multiplayer is really fun too. I have met a few good people. Don't have to deal with a giant group of people. It is you and one other person playing against AI. I have almost fallen over a couple times while playing. I was really getting into it. I would recommend getting in the habit of not moving your feet to look or move around the room. It's worth standing up to play it in my opinion but be careful! It is more immersive standing up. More games will accept this controller in the near future. Most notable, Doom VFR is compatible!

Basing my rating on pure fun and experience, it is definitely an excellent thing! So the AIM controller whilst playing feels really good, looking at it and hearing about how it works is a lot more strange than when it's in your grip. Moving is easy, turning is easy, you can even reverse the analogs. The buttons are placed well too and all accessible. In-game (Farpoint) it's very trippy! Even though you hold this pretty ugly and basic looking aim controller, inside the game you're holding different weapons, which actually feels very believable and also mind-blowing. The way the aiming mechanic works feels very good too. At first I was wondering how sights would work and such, with big goggles on your face, but when you actually play it, you'll understand! I think the thing about this and VR in general is that to truly get an idea or understanding, you've gotta experience for yourself. It's really hard to explain I find. Like when I was outside of the VR and also the AIM controller and looking at it, I couldn't fully understand how it worked or what the experience was like. But I'm glad I decided to take the jump! Onto the game itself, it has a space story that reminds me of Interstellar in a way. I think the neatest thing is the whole being there experience the story as if yourself is there, either through the character or just watching it. It's kind of like those movies/shows where someone goes back in time but cannot be seen but they're actually there, that's what it is like. Other times you are the head of the person in the cutscene, which helps make you experience it more personally, than just watching. It's a really neat thing and I can imagine movies and games cutscenes really being neat to live inside like this. The shooting is great and I think they did a good job! Especially since the tech is so young, I cannot wait to enjoy the future! I'll try to hold my tongue now and let you experience it for yourself. Final conclusion: Like shooting? Like FPS but always wanted to be the one shooting with the weapon rather than using a regular controller or keyboard and mouse? Then this is a great thing to try! It's sort of like those arcade guns, except now instead of a flat screen, you're in the screen, able to turn, look around, point and shoot!

Farpoint has to be one of the best PSVR games out there. The story was great and the gameplay was more challenging than I expected after playing other vr games. the future for vr is very bright if games are going to be more like this one. The Aim controller was a great peripheral. It works very well with the game. The only hang up is that the tracking gets to be slightly off after a few minutes. I kept switching weapons and that seemed to fix it. Probably nothing future updates won't fix. I look forward to more games that will use the aim controller.
