|Posted .I love it! I was looking for this all over Best Buy & got the last one! I essentially only bought it for my iPhone 6 so I can transfer pics & vids to my comp, but it's also useful for my school work! I have a variety of flash drives on had. It just takes long to upload b.c of the amount of pics & vids that I have, which I can understand, other than that, works like a charm! P.S: I always have it at hand at all times by attaching it to my keys & other knick nacks

Great little piece of Hardware.
|Posted .Pros mentioned:Price, Storage capacityPut a full feature film DCP on this little guy in lew of a hard-drive, sent to a movie theatre in NJ and they were able to ingest it into their projection and present the film with no hiccups! Sound quality and visual quality were fully up to standards! Was awesome and much less expensive way to save on hardware costs and shipping costs! Reliable, super high capacity and durable as well! I love it!

- A:Answer It depends on the resolution (Mega Pixels) of the photos and the file format (e.g JPEG) used to store them. These factors determine the file size for each picture. Low resolution photos (e.g. 4 MP stored as compressed JPEG) are around 1.2 MB in size. High resolution photos (e.g. 12 MP stored in uncompressed raw format) can be 36 MB in size. So, a 128 GB drive could store 90,000 low resolution photos or 3,000 high resolution photos

- A:Answer In my opinion you can never have to much hdd space. A lot of the time they are discounted because they are going to get newer models in or a promo to get people in the store. I work for a retailer and those are the man reason we do that

- A:Answer Yes - it can backup important files from your hard drive. I wouldn't say it can backup the whole hard drive, but it can hold all your important documents, pictures, video, and music. I bought one and used it for backing up important files on my hard drive and my hard drive crashed 2 weeks later. It was easy to put the files on the new drive - really a life saver. You can also use a program from Microsoft to help setup your backup files. It is called SyncToy, is free, and you just download it.

- A:Answer It won’t work connecting it directly to the phone but you can use a computer/laptop to transfer the pictures if you would like. It can hold aprox. 12000 photos

- A:Answer Most phones do not have a full size USB port and would not be able to directly interface with this device. You would need to connect both the phone and the thumb drive to a PC to enable backing up or transferring of data between the two devices.
