I wish Apple would add a micro SD card slot to their i-products - a simple way to add some storage capacity to their pads and phones. That isn't going to happen though, is it? Next best way, this PNY duo-link thumb drive. Drop your own movies, music, podcasts etc onto this drive from your computer, plug it into the lightning slot, and the PNY app lets you enjoy your media without fighting through the iTunes experience. It is fairly bulky, so some care is needed when moving the iPad with the drive installed.

love this! needed extra memory on my iphone and this solved it. i can also load movies and music on it and watch them and listen to my music right from the mini hard drive.

This is one of the best things ever. I don't need to deal with plugging my phone in to download files and pictures. Also you can put movie and music in the device and listen from your phone without taking up space on your phone.
