It wasn't on the manufacturer's recommended DIMM list, but I took a chance and I haven't regretted it. I was also worried about the heatsinks touching the CPU fan or each other, but but there wasn't a problem with either of those issues.

Popped this strip in, computer (Lenovo H520) recognized and started using it immediately. Suggest learning exactly what type of ram needed for computer before buying, if not sure, the people at Best Buy can help if they have the brand name and model number of the computer. Most can be found out by reading paperwork that comes with the computer or going to the internet. More ram is almost always a good thing for a computer and this fit the bill just fine.

It is allowing me to continue working on my computer(word, excel, etc) without any slowdown, and my web browsing seems to be faster. I would recommend the memory chip over a Patriot one ANY DAY!!!

Great RAM for gaming computer

My initial reaction to the ram was that it would run slower but there is a definite speed to this ram. It(the ram) was priced well too. the only downside i personally found was that it was one stick. And thus i could do dual channel memory with it.
