Q: Will this item ever be available?
A: I was foolish enough to buy 1 of these and then a year later another 1. Both were horrible. The data transfer rates in a Read operation were relatively slow for a USB 3 drive but weren't that bad. However, the Write rate is abysmal. It was supposed to do 70 MB/s or higher but my experience was less than 1 MB/s on average, slower than any of my old USB 2 thumb drives. the only good thing about these drives is 1/2 terrabyte but I don't think I have enough time in my life to wait for it to be filled up with files.
Q: Is the housing metal or plastic, and does it get hot during extended use or during transfers?
A: The housing feels like metal, but it's probably some type of ceramic or polymer jacket. It weighs a little more than the standard flash drive. And it does get a little hot with extended use, but that doesn't seem to affect performance.
A: Yes it does, it is backwards compatible.
Q: Can it be used for Tesla dash cam? Is it FAT32 formatting?
A: Yes, the product can be used for Tesla dash cam and yes it is FAT32 formatting.
Q: Will this drive work on nintendo switch ?

Q: Is this for use with iPhone —all models AND computers?
A: NO this is a PNY usb type drive whereas the iPhone utilizes a Lightning style port for charging, there is a goose neck lightning to usb thumb drive available
