A: It’s like a metallic black. Hard to photograph.
A: It’s 8 inches. It’s perfectly fine for how we use it (drinking game).
Q: Can this be played using batteries, or is the only way to play it by plugging it in?
A: The unit is designed to be plugged in. It does not have an internal battery pack or a place to install batteries on the unit. The power supply provided with the game is a 110 volt to 5 volt, 2 amp power converter. If your desire was to use this in a vehicle, I'm sure you could easily find a power supply that would plug into a cigarette lighter, although it is not supplied in the box for this product.
