After reading some mixed reviews regarding this PSVR stand, I decided to give it a shot. There are a couple great things about this product, but unfortunately they're overshadowed by its flaws.
Pros - Great looking stand! When it works (see below), it showcases your headset and accessories like no other. I was also pleasantly surprised at how well the PS Move controllers fit, even with the hand straps attached.
Cons - Many of the reviews I read complained that the curved headset rest didn't actually hold the headset properly and would cause it to slide down on the stand. The first time out of the box, I noticed that this would be a constant worry for me, as the weight of the headset causes it to creep down lower and lower over time (I set it on correctly at night and when I woke up the next morning, it had slid down considerably). Is this really a problem? Well, since the headset doesn't actually fall off the stand, maybe not. However, I'm not willing to have my $400 headset take the extra stress and strain put on it while I'm not even using the product. Aside from the drooping headset, I found that it was a little tricky to get the controller lined up correctly on the base in order to charge it. Furthermore, once in place, the unit seemed to charge the controller very slowly.
Overall I decided that, for the money, this wasn't worth it. So, I returned it to BB and got my money back. I found another product that was considerably cheaper and had plenty more positive reviews. So far, I'm happy with my decision.
