I preordered this item before it was released and I'm glad I did! The controller feels the same as the black pro controller. The only differences are the green/pink grips and the splatoon design in the middle of the controller. The colors are very vibrant and are a good addition to my collection of neon controllers. When playing splatoon 2, I feel the pro controller definitely helps with a more comfortable grip and can play for a longer period of time. I've had no connectivity issues and the battery life is amazing; 40 hours! Anyone looking to buy a pro controller and wants a neon configuration will greatly enjoy this controller. If you don't need it though, the original pro controller will be just as good.

The first thing I noticed about the Switch Pro controller was the price. $75 was a far cry from the $30 spent for the Wii U Pro controller I only purchased a year ago. That said, I personally found the joycons a tad uncomfortable, so I knew that this would be a purchase I would inevitably make. Upon first holding this pad, I found it incredibly comfortable, but I would argue that most gamepads have the ergonomic aspect down. What sets this pad apart from others is the battery life, which has exceeded any other wireless pad that I've owned, aside from the Wii U Pro controller. All in all, it's an incredibly solid gamepad, but the price is quite a heavy burden to carry considering the prices of most other gamepads on the market, but seeing as this is more than likely the best option for a gamepad on the Nintendo Switch at the moment.

I know this item is pricey, but I cannot stand the small controllers that came with the Nintendo Switch, so I picked this controller up and it feels great and plays great as well! It's a plus if you're a Splatoon fan as the grips are colorful and the design on the controlled has Splatoon characters embedded as well.
