Lucky Number Slevin director Paul McGuigan takes the helm for this action thriller concerning a group of telekinetic American ex-patriots who band together in an attempt to take down the clandestine government agency that's genetically transforming normal citizens into powerful psychic warriors. The Division is a shadowy government operation devoted to making humankind the ultimate weapon. Those who accept this transformation have the power to move objects with the mind, see the future before it happens, create new realities, and dispense of their enemies without so much as a single touch; those who are unwilling to participate are immediately terminated. Nick Gant (Chris Evans) is a "mover," a second-generation telekinetic who went into hiding after the Division killed his father more than a decade earlier. He lives a life of anonymity in Hong Kong, a densely populated place where fugitive psychics such as himself are safe as long as they can keep their unique gift secret. Suddenly into Nick's life comes 13-year-old "watcher" Cassie Holmes (Dakota Fanning), a clairvoyant who needs his help in tracking down escaped "pusher" Kira, who may hold the key to bringing down the Division once and for all. A "pusher" is the most powerful kind of psychic due to his or her ability to influence the actions of others by planting thoughts in their minds. Now, as Nick emerges from hiding in order to help Cassie find Kira, the Division's human bloodhounds are hot on their trail. In order to elude the authorities, they'll need to disappear into the seedy underbelly of the city while relying on a team of rogue psychics to help cover their tracks. But Division Agent Henry Carver (Djimon Hounsou) is a powerful pusher who has made it his mission to stop them at all costs, regardless of the collateral damages that may occur in the process. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Push was a better movie than I expected. Chris Evans is a fun actor to watch, and apparently he loves to be a character with super powers... Human Torch (in Fantastic Four), Captain America, and this character. It's a very interesting take on evolution of humans into metahumans. I like the story, but not that big of a fan of the screachers, who seem to have the most power, and able to kill anyone with their screams. Yet of course they find a way to defeat them... Other than that, it was a good story, giving some unexpected turns and turnarounds, leading to the ending we all can see coming. Enjoy this movie.

This Movie is Excellent I absolutely enjoyed this movie from start to finish but it's hard to understand what is going on in this movie now don't get me wrong it's an Excellent movie it's Just hard to understand that's all there was a lot of strange things that happened in this movie for example the fact that the main character has the ability to push things without even touching them was a little strange this is the first time I've ever seen a movie like this and I really enjoyed the plot to this movie and I'd recommend this movie.

      Pretty Good

Overall, I enjoyed this movie. Dakota Fanning is always great to watch, she's a very talented actress. The storyline, however, just seemed to be missing something. If you have seen the movie "Wanted", this has a similar feel to it. There's not much explanation for some elements, and the action sequences aren't really enough to make up for it. All in all, a good movie, but sort of falls short somehow.

      Great movie!

This is a great escape movie and one I will watch several times. For me that is key, is it a movie that is good enough to watch at least twice and this one is. I saw it at the theaters and have watched it several times. Love the action and story. If I had anything negative to say is that I wish they would have had more abilities thrown in.

      Good Effects Bad Storyline

I had allot of hope for this movie. I waited with excitement to see this one. After watching, I was highly disapointed in the storyline. The effects and graphics are good but the storyline draws you away from the movie all together. I would reccomend this movie as a one time watch, however, do not waiste you money on buying it. Just rent this and save some cash.

great movie not hard to understand

Not sure if the first person paid a lot of attention. For one the power the main character has is explained for those who also saw this movie will know that it's explained in the beginning by Dakota Fanning's character. I saw this movie in theaters and enjoyed it thoroughly. If there are plans for a sequel let it be known I will see it.

Push is one of the best Sci fi movie in a long time. It is very entertaining and will keep you guessing what will happen next. If you like X-men or any movie where people have powers then you will like Push just as much.

This movie is filled with action. The movie is generic. A handsome protagonist, his hot... hot... hot... girl, and a lot of guns! I would recommend definitely buying this movie if you like action/mixed with superpowers!
