Yes. Just tell them that the product is no longer working correctly. You don’t have to give them every little detail. If it’s not working properly, that’s all they need to know in order to get you a new product or a gift card covering the cost you paid to begin with

I have special needs son that destroys his controllers sometimes he throws them in the tub out the window etc. I’ve brought it back with parts missing. They take it just like it is!! It’s a super easy transaction!
