Just call the store and ask for a geek squad person and they will come out and survey the problem if they can fix it it will be repaired if not replace it with a new one .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bill, Not sure if you tried but.....Basic troubleshooting 101. I would start with trying another electrical outlet. Make sure it is nothing in your home causing this so you don't look foolish to the Geek Squad. Make sure the TV is a stand-alone. No devices connected to it. Then try again. Chances are they may ask the same. Worst case, don't hesitate using the protection plan. Call the number, hey, you're paying for it. Use their resources. I would recommend the In-Home service so they can see exactly how you have it connected. Good luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bring it in and they'll either let you get a new one or you have the option to get in store credit that goes towards a new tv. I like to think of it as a trump card because you can practically do a trade up to something better and just cover the difference.
