• Yes it has a tuner. I bought one of the super slim flat digital antennas and get 16 channels in the boonies. The picture quality is still great.

• Yes, you will need an antennae to receive Open Air signal. The TV does have a built in digital tuner to decode the signal.

• Yes it does to get over the air channels you'll need an antenna but it will depend on where you live to determine what if any over the air channels you will get. If your in a fairly remote area you may need to get a powered antenna.
