Best answer: I have used Miracle-Gro type hydroponics in the past and they work fine as I'm sure this one does too. When they eventually broke it it turned out they were very simple products and I decided to make my own, but bigger. They consist of a tub (I used a Rubbermaid container), an aquarium pump with bubble rock ends (to add oxygen and circulate the water) and a grow light. I made one 48 inches tall for about $100. The bells and whistles (auto height light, timer etc) are a way to justify the insanely high price and aren't needed. To answer you original question, you can grow any vegetable you want in hydroponics, you just adjust the nutrients a little differently. If this manufacturer doesn't offer them in their pre-packaged (and overpriced) units then you can make your own easily. Just look up hydroponic vegetable growing on the internet and you will find the info you need to grow your own veggies. Your only limitation is what seeds you can get your hands on.
