Yes, you can use one as a receiver and one as a transmitter.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes. if you have one connected to your tv and one device connected to your stereo this will work. You will just have to pair the two devices. If range is the concern, it should not be! when i wear my Bose headphones, i can check the mail, walk around the house inside and out. The range on this device is exceptional! All of this without any loss in sound quality.
