A:AnswerYes you can and this is how I have it set up. My reciever has the fire stick, blue ray and cable box plugged into it. It even comes with a narrower extension dongle in case you don't have room since the fire stick itself is wider than a hdmi cable. I didn't have to use it for my set up, but I did for my dad's tv because there were some screws to the side of the tv input. I had to use the tv in my dad's set up since his reciever only has two hdmi inputs.
A:AnswerThe ones that are "fully loaded" have a program installed on them called Kodi. This program allows you to watch movies and tv shows new and old and also ppv events. The firestick does not come with this program installed you can go to youtube and learn how to install it yourself it is very easy.
A:AnswerThe so called jailbreak is nothing more that opening up the developer options and allowing non Amazon programs to be downloaded to the fire stick. This can be accomplished by going to the settings tab, Step 1 – Go to the home screen of your Firestick by clicking the home button on remote. Step 2 – Hover over the Settings menu item. Step 3 – Click Applications icon. Step 4 – Click Collect App Usage Data – you will not see this option on older Fire TV models so skip this step if that is the case. Step 5 – Click Turn Off button. Step 6 – Click back button, return to the previous screen and click the Device icon. Step 7 – Click Developer Options. Step 8 – Click Apps from Unknown Sources. Step 9 – Click Turn On button. You can now download applications that aren’t available within the Amazon App Store and open up a whole new world of entertainment.

A:AnswerYes, it'll work with a hotspot. Just go to the settings ,then networks , then you'll have the available wifi connections and then proceed to yours, then connect with your username and password and you'll be all set.
A:AnswerNo jail breaking needed. Just go into settings and then turn on the option to allow apps from unknown developers. After that you're a short You TOOB video away from being able to get that Fire TV Stick to do anything and everything you'd intended.
A:AnswerYou can get 3 out of the 4 channels. The only one I do not see on the channel listing is root sports.
Google "Fire Stick channel list" so you can see everything that is available. Hope this helps :)
