I'd check out a website called "PC Part Picker" to determine what motherboard's compatible w all the parts you're using, including this CPU. On the site, u can place all the parts in ur build and it'll tell u what pieces are compatible with it, how much the wattage is, where to buy, etc. B) cheers mate
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you want PCIe 4 capabilities, ONLY AMD's X570 & B550 chipsets support it, and only those two. So, 'ALL' A520, X570 & B550 equipped motherboards with PROPERLY UPDATED ZEN 3 RYZEN 5000 capable BIOS/AGESA Update 'WILL WORK'. A520, though a new chipset, is only PCIe 3, so beware. X470 & B450 motherboards WITH PROPERLY UPDATED ZEN 3 RYZEN 5000 capable BIOS Update 'should' work fine, but only give PCIe 3 performance. This list of motherboards support Zen 3 since launch. https://www.thefpsreview.com/2020/10/11/heres-a-big-list-of-amd-motherboards-that-already-support-ryzen-5000-zen-3-cpus-and-their-required-bioses By the time AMD Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 CPU are ACTUALLY AVAILABLE, Zen 4 CPU and X670 & B650 chipsets will be out.
