Is this in any way better than the airpod pros 2 that is already out? Or is the only change the charging port becoming USB-C. In other words is this worth waiting for over the airpod pros with the lightning port null

It's an "updated" case with new model numbers for each part as well as USB-C instead of lightning, and technically it's better in that it support lossless audio when paired with Apple's Vision Pro headset (coming early 2024), whereas the lightning ones don't. 
But functionally, they should be more or less identical to the lightning ones except for the details I've listed above.

you can use apple watch charger to charge. just place it face up with the light facing up and it will charge.

They are the same quality as the lightning port ones the only difference is the charging port

I believe that is the only difference is the charging port. The other question that is totally up to you and your money. It’s better to carry one charger over multiple chargers.

Nah it’s the same just has a USB-C port because of the iPhone 15.
