• They don’t technically help you find it but it will ping off their phone and you will get location update

• It works well with the FM feature. It pings and has a feature where you can scan the room and your phone will vibrate as it gets closer to the item

• I've had to use this feature in the past and it was extremely helpful in finding a lost iPhone. Airpods aren't easily found through "Find My" but with an AirTag, they will be no problem to find.
