The phone itself is unlocked so if you buy it outright then you could, but if you buy it with service or with any of the deals then it's probably locked until paid off. This will work virtually anywhere on virtually any carrier as a GSM and CDMA phone. There is a 'world' model that has like 2-3 additional bands but you can't get that in the US and those bands aren't really required, just optional for speed in some places.
