Both this model and the previous model have backlit keys.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They do and don't. The backlight already exists on other Magic Keyboards. They can only be adjusted in General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard > Brightness. The only issue is it will allow you to adjust it when the ambient sensor on the iPad detects the room is dark. It exists but it won't allow you to run it during the day, it's a feature apple has to save battery life in their eyes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To Pryzm's response: You can manually adjust the keyboard brightness using Control Center (and using screen brightness keys on the new Magic Keyboard). The keys CAN be backlit during the day.
