• Yes you can. The Apple TV and iPhone both support Apple's AirPlay so it doesn't matter what brand of TV you have, the Apple TV will communicate with your iPhone and stream video or slide shows from your iPhone to the Apple TV and then to your Samsung TV via HDMI cable. I use it like this all the time.
