A:AnswerNo, but if nothing else the AppleTV works with Ir remotes. You can train it to accept input from basically anything. You can use am iOS device as a remote too, which could be handy to program an Ir remote.

A:AnswerMain unit is always plug in therefore it always has power. The remote has a rechargeable battery built in. Once it is fully charged, it will last a long time before needing to be recharged. I wish more companies would include a rechargeable battery with their product instead of two AA batteries.
A:AnswerYes, you can airplay from you iPad/phone to any device through the AppleTV. But, if you're streaming IPTV content through your phone, you can just download the ap and stream directly.
