A:AnswerI don't think it can: you can use certain features on the Apple Watch without Bluetooth connecting it to your phone, but to receive texts and phone calls you must connect to Bluetooth
A:AnswerI have the series 1 and it just uses the Bluetooth that syncs with the phone onless you get the series 3 with cellar but I honestly don’t see the point in it
A:AnswerThe Apple Series 1 is an extension of your Apple iPhone. Incoming calls on your iPhone will also ring on your Apple Watch Series 1, including showing you the caller ID. You can send and receive phone calls on your Apple Watch Series 1 as long as your iPhone is within proximity of your watch. You would need to use your iPhone to see a list of your received/missed calls and to retrieve your voicemail messages.
A:AnswerThe watch doesn't turn off. It does need to be charged every night. Your phone is on or not does not affect the battery of the watch. If you want your charge to last longer, you can turn off the Bluetooth but then you will lose those features. I just put my watch on the charger overnight and never have a problem with not having enough charge to get through the day.
