“GPS” only means that the watch has location capability. It also has the ability to answer phone calls and make calls only if your phone is in Bluetooth range. If it is “GPS+Cellular, you can use the watch to make and receive calls even without your iPhone nearby. It has its own cellular account which you will have an additional monthly fee with your provider.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.GPS plus cellular means you have to have the watch connected with your cellular provider. (Fees vary by provider for month to month use) +cellular means you can have your phone elsewhere and still be able to take and receive calls on your watch. (phone must be turned on in order for it to work I believe) Whereas, regular GPS you will have to have your phone nearby. Hope this helps you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What I think you are referring to is gps is Wi-Fi only and gps+cellular would give you ability to use this when out and about using the cellular towers where you have no Wi-Fi service.
