Yes for the first question you can put it into tablet mode and it will even ask you when you are folding it if you want the computer to be in tablet mode or not. Haven't drawn yet with the laptop yet, but I am waiting for a stylus to arrive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would not buy this device for drawing since the palm rejection is horrendous. Writing with your palm on the screen will make the notification center, onscreen keyboard, and other stuff pop up several times per minute. This does not normally happen on other Microsoft Pen Protocol devices. Also, this happens even with the "Ignore touch input when I'm using my pen" option enabled in Windows settings.
