• The AT LP5 turntable not an automatic turntable. It is a completely manual one. You need to use the cueing lever to start listening to the record, and to return the tone arm to its resting place after the record is finished. Because manual turntables do not have an additional motor dedicated to operating the tone arm, there are fewer vibrations that might distort the sound.

• No, it’s a fully manual turntable. A high quality, modern turntable by the way. You have to lift the arm and place the needle where you want to begin to play. At the end, you have to lift the arm again.
