QuestionThis is a question for Best Buy, why do you allow this listing on your web site? Reviews seem fake, all by seller. Looks like it's been here for years. Best Buy should be ashamed to be a part of this, it's a bad look.
- Answer Looks like this is a legit product, intended for digital audio, part of the ultra high-end home theater market. Maybe for Jeff Bezos, but not for me.
- Answer You can find this product on the Audio Quest web site, sold through retail partners like Magnolia Home Theatre. It's aimed at audiophiles and others who can be convinced their digitized music sounds better if the data travels over a really expensive cable. Seems dubious, as long as the 0s and 1s are received without error there should be no difference. You don't need a $500 USB cable for that, particularly at USB 2.0 data rates.
