Is this the same as converting to a aux ? Because my tv only has digital out and my speaker set up only uses aux wit this alow me to conect my speakers to my tv?   (1 Answer)

No. The TV output is digital. The speaker's 'AUX' input is analog. The cable cannot convert digital to analog. If the TV does not have an analog output or the speakers do not have a digital input, you need a piece of electronics to convert the digital signal to analog.

Connecting by sound bar   (1 Answer)

I have a sound bar with a optical output on the back but my new tv only have a digital audio output. Do they make a cable that I can use to connect theses items together?

Hello, Typically, most sound bars and HDTV's will use a digital optical connection. When connecting the audio output from a TV to an audio input on a sound bar you would most likely be using a full size to full size optical cable. See the recommendation below. The "digital audio output" on your TV may very well be an optical connection as optical is a type of digital audio connection.
