YES! I have a house full of children and watch Netflix with them on my laptop...I can not hear the children unless they are screaming in the room!

They can block out most noise and wind noise, and if people talk to you they will sound far off and "hummy" if that makes sense.

Yes they are noise canceling - better than Bose.

Not officially, but they do well to block out the ambient sound
