A:AnswerIt can be done, but its a pain. I mounted mine on brick, but you will need to drill into the brick. I backfilled the holes with expoxy putty to secure.
A:AnswerThe Blink Floodlight is not compatible with older generation cameras like the XT or XT2. The Blink Floodlight works with the newer 3rd generation Outdoor camera.
A:AnswerHi there,
We're sorry to hear you're seeing a white-out issue when the floodlights activate. Since this sounds like a technical issue, please contact the Blink support team here for assistance:https://blinkforhome.kustomer.help/contact/support-HJlZ2VBIH
A:AnswerWhen you connect it to the sync module you can see your battery level. It warns you if you are using too much battery power. Also warns you when battery power is low.
A:AnswerBattery life of up to two years is expected based on default settings. Battery life will vary based on device settings, use, and environmental factors.
Things that can affect battery life:
Slow internet connection speeds use batteries faster.
Extreme heat and cold can affect battery performance.
Weak signal strengths between Blink devices, and the Wi-Fi network, can increase battery consumption.
Note: Blink cameras are only compatible with size AA 1.5 volt Lithium non-rechargeable batteries.
You can monitor battery level in the Blink app, by tapping Device Settings and then General Settings.
Battery strength indication is either OK or Needs Replacement.
As a warning, the Blink app will display a "High Usage" alert message when your camera settings are likely to cause higher than normal battery consumption.
