• I found feet to help a lot, I got the half globe kind (1.25 inch) and they work amazing. Even on a stand, I used these feet to isolate the speaker.

• Yes, you can place any of our bookshelf speakers on a bookshelf or any other kind of furniture. We would advise using the supplied rubber feet to protect the finish on the speakers, but it is not necessary to do so.
