A:AnswerI’m not sure how thin of paper you have, but I use mine to scan in my daughters school work. It’s pretty thin math text book papers. Quality is good, and it feeds the paper through well.
A:AnswerReading the Best Buy What's Included in the Box description, there is a telephone line cord and LC201 inks. Presumably this means yes to landline connection and no to LC61 ink.
A:AnswerIt will work with a MAC but if you use the "pre-scan" feature and select an area that you want to scan instead of the default 8.5 x 11 area the program will crash and it will not scan. Then you have to scan the entire default area and crop your scan in another program. I tried playing with various settings such as lowering the resolution or using different file types; none of them helped.
A:AnswerIt might theoretically be possible but if you do this often the task would probably be a pain. The ADF is relatively slow and I haven't found a way to neatly stack originals once scanned. On the other hand, if large jobs are few and far between, it's an inexpensive scanner that works fine for small jobs.
A:AnswerInstant rebates should happen at check-out. If you don't see a rebate on the receipt but you know you should have gotten it then I would recommend going back to Best Buy and talking to customer service.
If the rebate is a mail-in rebate then you need to send in a completed rebate form that can be found on the Brother website.
