A:AnswerThere are a few built-in profiles, but to get the full utility of the lighting software, iCue, they must be downloaded from the Corsair Website. If you just want it to light up, that can be done offline. If you want to have full personalization, you’re going to need internet.
A:AnswerHi Julio,
This model uses low profile switches and keycaps, meaning that the overall height of the keys and the depth you press is reduced. This allows for a sleek keyboard.

A:AnswerThe switches in the k70 mk.2 Low profile are silent, linear and very fast. They have a low actuation and don’t require a lot of force to type. Hope this helps!
A:AnswerThis keyboard uses Cherry MX Speed low profile switches which give off a dull click sound to them. Not too loud and not too quiet. Great for home or office use. I recommend looking up sound tests on YouTube to see if it’s a sound you will like.
A:AnswerOn Corsair's website, it lists this particular model (K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile) as Xbox One compatible. So yes, you may connect this keyboard to an Xbox One via usb. However, the RGB effects (lighting effects) on the keyboard may not be configured through the console itself. Configuring the lighting effects on the keyboard require to use Corsair's iCue software on a computer (laptop or desktop). The lighting will work out of the box with no problem, but if one wishes for extra customaziation, then the former is required.
A:AnswerSure does! It comes with two parallel cables: one to connect the keyboard (3.1) and one as a pass through (2.0). The pass through allows the port on the back of the keyboard to be used for any USB 2.0 application, from charging to wired mouse.
A:AnswerThat depends on the type of key switches you like. Just barely pressing the keys will actuate the response, so you may have a lot of typos or improve depending on your style of typing.
A:AnswerThis gaming keyboard is much more sensitive than average keyboards. Its buttery smooth. I absolutely love the keyboard, but be aware that it's very easy to double or triple up single strokes. Like most things, it just takes some getting used to. Highly recommend.
A:AnswerHi,
This keyboard's key switches are soldered. The CHERRY MX Low Profile Speed switches guarantee a lifespan of 50 million actuations with no loss of quality. If you have any additional questions, we'd be happy to assist: help.corsair.com
