Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had this problem as well. I connected my monitor to the new pc and expected it to come right on, and was disappointed. I noticed that my monitor had 2 capabilities (VGA/DVI) and I searched online and found that it might work if I connected the monitor using the other port (DVI), so I went to Best Buy and bought the cable. Got it home, connected it.. ugh.. NOTHING.. So, I took the whole works to Best Buy and let Geeks look at it. They connected it and it came on immediately.. LOL Thing was, when I spoke to someone about the cable, they informed that I needed to connect it to the Mother board port, and they connected it to the video card port. Try that, it might work for you, though, there is no VGA port on the video card. If your monitor is not DVI capable, you might have to get a new one..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure you are not plugging into the graphics card on the motherboard. Instead plug into the one in the slot. A lot of motherboards have onboard video cards that are dissabled as soon as you plug in another video card. If thats not it then check that the video card is seated properly in the slot.
