Yes, the system uses standard Ethernet (RJ45) cabling with PoE (Power over Ethernet), so both power and video are transmitted through a single cable from the NVR to each camera . Regarding cable length, the included cables are 60 ft, but you can absolutely extend the distance if needed: You can extend each camera connection up to ~180 ft using an Ethernet coupler and additional cable This is a common and supported setup as long as good quality Ethernet cables are used As for using PoE switches, the system is primarily designed for direct connection to the NVR’s built-in PoE ports.
