      Answer

This PSU has a removable 4 pin addition. If yours doesn't, the easy solution is to just plug it in (it's keyed) with the 4 pins unhooked. Baring that, you can google "20-Pin Male to 24-Pin Female ATX adapter".

Efficiency rating, bronze... thats the primary difference. I am sure the components internally are slightly higher grade.

Does this come with PCI cables for a beefy GPU?   (11 Answers)

My current power supply is not modular and does not have the cables required for my GTX 960. I was curious if this one did. I can tell it isn't modular, I just need to know if it has the PCI cable i need.

This product will not fit the ASRock M8 case. You will need a mini-ITX power supply.

Is the fan for this thermo controlled or automatic? I just replaced it with my old power supply and the fan does not turn on wondering if its auto or a bad fan.   (2 Answers)

                Answer

I installed my new 600 watt power supply into my motherboard. The fans are automatic, there is no way to turn it off or on. In other words, if the computer is turned on but the fan isn't rotating, something is wrong. But make sure the blades are spinning, it's a new fan after all, and those things are really quite at first.
