I don't find this model number anywhere else except Best Buy. Can anyone confirm if this the same card? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487292   (3 Answers)

      Answer

From the model numbers, I would say yes they are. The difference is the R and B at the end... "KR" and "KB". I am not sure if that has to do with a special designation for Best Buy and "KR" is for other retail. I have not check specs, I am just going by the model numbers: 04G-P4-6255-KR (Newegg) and 04G-P4-6255-KB (BestBuy).

It has no place for a power supply connection, and it runs great without one.

There will be no difference in performance. Temp wise maybe however, considering this card has low power consumption, you'll be fine. :)

        Answer

Yes, I just installed this card into a Dell 8700 XPS system. Just need to take out an additional slot on the back as it needs 2 to lock in. (took me 20 mins to figure that out)

According to NVidia's website their MINIMUM requirement is 300W PS but I would agree you may not be getting the full potential from this card depending on what other peripherals you PS is running in your rig also.

Anything above 100 watts I would say, 70 runs Doom Max settings smoothly. SO in hearing that I would say to be more comfortable with higher amount of watts. Rather have it and not need it and need and not have it, right. Have a Good One, ThePig

A typical 680 should be about 10 inches in length, this 1050 ti is 9 inches in length. Shouldn't be an issue.
