Does this lens work with an a6000 null

Yes it will work but does not have built-in image stabilization and it will be closer to 127.5mm not 85mm. APS-C(a6000) will multiply a full frame lens by roughly 1.5 so if you are for 85mm equivalent try a 50mm full frame lens.
