A:AnswerWe don't know about the Charge 3 but it's likely to be similar to the Charge 2 which Fitbit says:
"The buckle and frame on Charge 2 are made of surgical-grade stainless steel. While all stainless steel contains traces of nickel and can cause an allergic reaction in someone with nickel sensitivity, the amount of nickel in all Fitbit products meets the European Union's stringent Nickel Directive."
I have a nickel sensitivity and have to be careful what touches my skin including belt buckles, necklaces and anything with pewter. I wear the Charge 2 nearly 24 hours per day and have no problem. But others have reported sensitivity. Probably worth trying and returning if it doesn't work out. Other customers have mitigated the situation by using sport tape or moleskin. I think the vast majority of people are OK with it.
A:AnswerI bought the Fitbit Charge 3 on Monday and going to return it today (Thursday). It is not properly recording my steps but also gives the "steps" when I'm driving or moving my arm. I wanted my steps counted is the main reason I purchased a Fitbit to begin with. Now not sure which one go purchase next.
A:AnswerI did the upgrade and I don’t think it’s worth it. The face selection are not a useful to my older eyes, but the big kicker is, the bands and chargers are not compatible. I had 26 bands and 3 chargers. The 2 is a great device, the 3 brings waterproofing, a better battery (I can’t tell) and easier band connection.
A:AnswerAfter 3 months the pixels on one have screwed up. 2 lines across the screen. The other one we have does not sync anymore regardless of how many times I have tried, all different methods, resetting etc. So now the time is wrong on one device so there's no point using it, and you cant change the time on the watch itself. The other one just looks crap with all the pixel issues. I regret my purchase and have lost $280.
A:AnswerThe tracker comes with both the large and small bands...

A:AnswerI don’t think they have one. I asked the sale associate the same thing when I purchased the Charge 3 and he told me no. It didn’t appear as on option on his screen when I was cashing out. Hope this helped!
A:AnswerIn my case I don't think it uses my data. I always sinc it at home on wi-fi. I've been using it for a couple of months now and haven't noticed any extra data usage.
A:AnswerNot too bright, I always have to cover it wtih my hand when outdoors in sunlight. But you can adjust the brightness, unlike my old charge 2 that never did .
A:AnswerIt comes with a short charger tether, one end has the electrical mount on Fitbit and the other end is usb (is that what it’s called) so you can plug it into a phone charger.
A:AnswerThere is an activity reminder that you can personalize to have it go off during a certain time range ( say 9:00 - 5:00). It will vibrate once an hour if you do not hit the goal (250 steps). If however you hit that goal, it does not just automatically vibrate each hour. I appreciate it when I'm at work and get absorbed into my computer screen and forget to get up and move! Alternatively, you can set alarms as well that will cause the device to vibrate. I use that in the morning to gently wake me before my alarm goes off.
A:AnswerThe specification is to 164' including pool, lake or ocean. After use rinse and dry before putting it back on your wrist. A lot of this guidance is for the band.
From Fitbit:
Do NOT use hand soap, body soap, dish soap, hand sanitizers, cleaning wipes or household cleaners, which could get trapped beneath the band and irritate skin.
To remove build-up of lotions and oils (such as sunscreen, insect repellent and moisturizers) that can be trapped beneath the band, we recommend that you use a soap-free cleanser like Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser or Aquanil, rinse thoroughly and dry well.
A:AnswerPress the button on the side to wake it up, then gently slide a finger from right to left to scroll through the screens. When you come to the screen that has weather and settings, you can press on the settings portion of the screen and change the brightness. There is only normal and dim. If the normal is not bright enough, you can't change that.
