Hi - Thank you for your interest in this beautiful GE refrigerator for your home. The ice bucket is inserted on the left side and measures 10-1/4"W x 5"H x 12"D. This leaves approximate 14-3/4"W of free space to the right of the ice bucket in the upper drawer. We do hope this is helpful. Vikki@GEA
