Thanks so much for choosing GEA! We are happy to find an excellent replacement for your microwave. Without the complete model number to your current unit, we cannot do a direct comparison. However, using the dimensions you provided for your cutout, you may have an issue with the depth. Both the width and height are perfect, but model PEM31DFBB requires at least 16" in depth. For trim kits, the 27" version is JX827DFBB and the 30" version is JX830DFBB. Hope this helps! - John@GEAppliances
