A:AnswerHello there - Yes, the smallest burner on this range is the simmer burner. When turned down to LO, the simmer burner provides precise cooking performance for foods such as delicate sauces that require low heat for a long cooking time. We hope this helps! Take care, Kelsey@GEA
A:AnswerThanks so much for being a part of the GEA family! We know things can heat up while cooking so we're happy to help. All ranges of exhaust vents somewhere on the appliance. This model has vents located at the rear of the cooktop, at the top and bottom of the oven door, and at the bottom of the range under the broiler drawer. If your kitchen gets warm, we recommend ventilating it with open windows or an exhaust hood above the range. - John@GEAppliances

A:AnswerHi Murph - Our ranges meet all standards set by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL). UL evaluates external temperature limitations for ranges.
The front and sides of a range can vary from 152 to 212 degrees F., depending on the materials. There are currently no temperature limitations for the horizontal surface, or cooktop, of a range. Complies with maximum allowable wood cabinet temperatures of 194F. A:AnswerHi there, CMoore - Great question! This range has a broiler drawer. The broiler drawer is a broiler compartment which allows you to toast, darken, and broil your food - supplies a concentrated heat for crisping and browning. Thanks so much for checking! -Mikayla
