The bottom door is nearly on the floor when completely open and would present a challenge for someone with limited mobility. However, I have found that I use the upper oven almost exclusively, and it allows bend-free access (I'm 5'4", taller people might have a different experience). It's more roomy than you might expect; you won't be roasting a family-sized turkey in the space, but game hens are no problem. Additionally, the smaller oven preheats very quickly, and I think it's more energy efficient, too.
