I would say it depends if you are more tied into Google or the Amazon eco-system. My wife and I have had Google phones forever, as well as a couple of Chromecast devices, and Nexus tablets, also made by Google. It only made sense that we wanted to stay with Google products for an online assistant and speaker system. We just got our Home Mini's the other day, and are still trying them out. NOTE.. The Home Mini is free if you buy a new Google Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL (which we did). As for the Amazon assistant, I don't own an Amazon Echo or Dot. However, I imagine they both can/will perform similar functions. Hope this helps and Happy Holidays!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Google Home Max is better than the Amazon Echo Plus in every way. The Sound quality is superior and That Bass is ridiculous. Check Out GeeksourceHD on YouTube for an unboxing and review.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have both an Echo and a Home. Google Home is able to answer more questions and is a little more versatile. If you use any home automation, you will want to make sure that your hub is compatible with your assistant. Also, Google Home hears the key word much better in a loud room over Echo. As far as sound, the Google Max has microphones and automatically calculates the acoustics of the room and adjusts the sound. If you have ever listened to music in the corner of a room, you may noticed a muddy sound. Well the Max accounts for this so you get a near perfect sound, regardless of wherever you are in a room. Since it has not been released, I can't tell you how it sounds. But if it is as good as promised, I think it will be one of the top audio devices in its price range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on what ecosystem you live in, if you already have tons of Echos and use them and are a large Amazon user than this wouldn't be for you, however it is a lot better when it comes to sound and quality than an Echo Plus. Basically if you aren't stuck to someone else, yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes and no Sound YES! Lacks 9 functions that Alexa can do, Google it
