It plays individual tracks and playlists you create in Google Play Music. It can also stream from Pandora, Spotify, and YouTube Music, as long as you have an active account with the corresponding service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You get a free 2 week trial of Google Play Music with Google Home, during which time you will be able to name an artist/song and have it play from the Google Play library. After this period is expired, you will require a paid subscription or you will only be able to play specific songs via YouTube or Spotify. The free Google Play Music integration will only play an artist playlist, not a specific song.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It plays music from the extensive Google Music catalog, not just songs you own.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It plays from the library but when I asked it to play Tracks of my tears it kept only playing the live version, I kept asking for the radio version or the studio version but it kept playing the same one, but other songs I have not had that problem with, my dot played the version I wanted the first time I asked. Don't know if this helps.

You can get more specific with it as well, "OK, Google, play Justin Timberlake" or "OK, Google, play Suit & Tie by Justin Timberlake". I should add, at set up, it will ask you what app you want to use to play music. Spotify, Google play, etc. So maybe you can choose Amazon music. Best of luck with your device!
