“Can the new nest battery camera be plugged in allowing 24/7 coverage”

From my brief testing experience with this camera (before I returned it), the answer is "yes" and "no". It seems that when the camera is plugged in, it will record 24/7, even if there is no motion, as the previous Nest cameras did. On battery, it only records if there is motion in a "zone" that you set up. This, I assume, is to conserve battery power.
