I would get rid of the Netgear router and just use the mesh system. I would hook the modem up to the nest Wifi router then place the points appropriately throughout the house.

This setup may work but keep in mind, Nest Wifi points should always be connected to Nest Wifi router. Also, having your Nest Wifi router connected to your other router instead of your modem will create two private Wi-Fi networks which is not necessarily a problem but can be a problem if you are playing online games or using port forwarding. Most likely but it will just get a DHCP address from your LAN CIDR assigned from the WiFi router. It would be best probably to set the WiFi router you already have to a bridge mode and let google WiFi manage the LAN. You should also turn off WiFi on the other router ( or just remove it since it’s pointless to have another WiFi device spamming their radio on top of the nest WiFi’s )
No, you will not need your Netgear router anymore. You will connect the Google Nest Wifi router to the modem. The other two points just need a power source.
