• If you dont have an account set up with automatic billing HBO will give you $25 (or whatever the gift card amount is) towards HBO Now service. So a $25 Gift Card will get you a little more than a month and a half's worth of service.

• The ending date is based on the value of the cards. They calculate that date for you and there’s no waste or money left over. The advantage however, is you don’t need to add a credit card and when the card value is done you do nothing to cancel. Just follow the directions in the card.
