A:AnswerThis is an issue with their automatic updates. Their is currently a class action lawsuit. You might try reaching out to them on Twitter, but the file they sent to us to "fix" the TV bricked it immediately.
A:AnswerYes, we use a Vizio sound bar V51-H6 on the ARC port which mandates that 2 HDMI ports be used with the sound bar. (Audio Return Channel - one used to receive cable signal, the ARC for sound bar). This reduces the HDMI ports available for other devices. We added an HDMI switcher box to increase the one tv HDMI output left to 3 more for our DVD player, game console - one more is still free. Blue tooth is used for the V51-H6 sound bar BASS Speaker and right /left satellite speakers. Works great
This model of sound bar is perfect for apartment living, anything more powerful (read that as more expensive) would surely blast the neighbors out
We have not tried using other blue tooth device too. Not reason why the will not work
