A:AnswerThe cables you need depend on the computer you are connecting the monitors to. The monitor has an HDMI port and a VGA port. If the computer you have has both of those connections, you can set up a dual monitor set. You will need an HDMI cable and VGA cable. I hope this helps.

A:AnswerI am currently using this monitor on a Windows 10 machine. So I know that it works with Win10 as long as your hardware (video) supports it. The unit has both a VGA and HDMI input ports so I think it is pretty universally compatible.
A:AnswerFor gaming, 60hz refresh rate, 1920x1080p resolution, and around 7ms response time is about the Bare minimum you want for a gaming display. The IPS will make things look a little nicer. Good gaming monitors will be around 144hz refresh rate, 2560x1440p resolution, and less than 1ms response time. Adding Freesync/G-sync and IPS will enhance the experience even further. This will also jump the cost over a few hundred dollars. If you're on a budget, and aren't picky about a great display, this monitor is very good for it's price.
A:AnswerWe had this issue. Since it runs on a power pack and barrel connector, I discovered the cord was a little loose between the power pack and wall plug portion. Reseat it and it should come on.
A:AnswerNo, this monitor (HP - 23" IPS LED HD Monitor - Natural silver Model: T3M74AA#ABA) did not come with a standard VGA cable. It did however come with a standard HDMI cable. So if you need to connect to a VGA port on your computer you will need to acquire one. Be sure and check to see if your computer has a HDMI output port so that you can use the included HDMI cable.
